I'm a 21-year-old recent college grad. My school didn't have majors, but if it did, mine would have been a mesh of creative writing, Victorian history, and women's studies. In that order. This fall I've started grad school to get my MLIS, so I can be a super-librarian. I spend my time being a major geek, watching canceled tv shows, reading comics, updating myself on fandom news, and gaming.
If you're into fandom:
My main fandoms right now are Merlin (multiple ships), NCIS (I ship Tony/Gibbs) and Lost (used to be a Skater, but now totally Suliet) I also watch Castle (mostly for Nathan Fillion, but also because I love crime dramas), Law and Order SVU, Eastwick, and Dollhouse. I love everything by Joss Whedon, Firefly being my favorite, but Buffy a close second. I'm also into Harry Potter (Snape/Lupin), and I used to be hugely into the Lord of the Rings (Frodo/Sam) but though I still love the books and movies, I don't participate in the fandom anymore. I read a lot of comics, mostly Marvel, and She-Hulk is my hero. <333 I'm slowly getting into Battlestar Galactica (on season 2 right now), and plan on watching Heroes at some point.
If you like fashion:
I'm a goth when it comes to day-to-day fashion, and that's where my heart truly lies, but I also have a huge soft spot for Japanese street fashion. I dress in lolita every now and then and I love decora and gyaru, though I don't think I'd ever attempt either of those. I wear a ton of black (though my favorite color is actually purple) but my favorite lolita styles are sweet and deco. The more over-the-top cute, the better. I also love retro fashion from the 40s-50s, and 20s-era fashion. I'm kind of all over the place.
If you're a gamer:
I have a love affair with my cute pink DS. (It contrasts wonderfully with my scary goth demeanor.) Right now I'm into Scribblenauts and Pokemon Platinum, but I've also enjoyed New Super Mario Bros, Harvest Moon, Animal Crossing, and Princess Debut. (Yes, you heard me right on that last one.) When it comes to my mistress the PS2, my tastes change a bit. I'm obsessed with Silent Hill. Survival/Horror is how I roll. I also adored God of War, but have yet to play the second one.
If you watch anime or read manga:
I love reading shojo crap, but when it comes to anime, I prefer less syrupy drama and more slice-of-life stuff. Azumanga Daioh and Strawberry Marshmellow are a couple of my favorite titles. I also like Evangelion, Gals/Super Gals, Sailor Moon, Serial Experiments Lain, Nana, and Fushigi Yugi.
